Title: I'll Bring You The Music by Cinti Laird

I'll Bring You The Music to dispell your fears. I'll Bring you the music, that will dry your tears. I'll bring you the music, to keep your love alive! I'll bring you the music to help you to survive.

Sometimes we think that we can make it on our own. Then we ascend and just begin to fall alone. I'll show you I'll be there for you. Help to accomplish things you do. Oh, wo, oh, wo, oh, wo, oh, wo.

I'll Bring You The Music, make you want to dance. I'll Bring you the music to enhance romance. I'll bring you the music to party through the night. I'll bring you the music to keep it going right.

We go through life with dreams that never come to past Then realize that love is all that's meant to last. So get yourselves out on the floor. Let's have some fun that's what it's for.

Oh, oh, oh, oh,
I'll Bring you the music, make you want to play. I'll bring you the music, make you want to stay. I'll bring you the music and serve it with a smile. I'll bring you the music that will suite your style.

I'm your touchstone. You love me alone this way. Feel your heartbeat to the tune I make it play. I'm your treasure and no measure can compare to the pleasure that you get each time you hear. Let me bring you the music, the music of your soul, let me bring you the music. Let the music take control. Let me bring it!

I'll bring you the music, for an early night. I'll Bring you the music to share the stars so bright. I'll bring you the music to unveil the dark. I'll bring you the music to help you make your mark.

Let me bring you the music. The music of your soul. Let me bring you the music. Let the music take control. Let me bring you the music, to dispell your fears. Let me bring you the music that will dry your tears.

Here Today Gone Tomorrow

Written during the time of an internship at the Circle Repertory Theater while working production for Laurence Fishburne who was directing himself, Heavy D & Titus Welliver in his dynamic play Riff Raff.  During this period, Disney came to my neighborhood in Times Square, a Tranny Man burst onto the stage during the performance to give Larry his card and made the NY Times, and our production leader Darla Braswell, who had recently returned to NY after lighting RagTime in Toronto for it's Broadway debut, committed suicide.  I had already been in the recording studio working on the song - in fact my producer and I had laid instrumental tracks to the feel and the melody because I had no words only a melody and an erie feeling.  I'd never written a song in this manner ever before - always the melody and the lyrics come to me simultaneously.  I told John that this was strange and he said - "Let's work on that!"  You gotta know John Dubbs, because he likes strange music.  This haunting melody had all of the dark elements that caught his attention.  Weeks later, on the morning that I was informed of Darla's suicide - then after speaking with Dr. Williams, the Pastoral Counselor from my church about it because I didn't know how to feel;  I hung up the telephone and the oddest thing - the lyrics rushed out of me so quickly that if I didn't write them down that they might never come again for several years  and I never changed a word.  You see I don't actually write songs, they write themselves, they pick the appointed time and place to reveal themselves on their own terms.

Title: Here Today Gone Tomorrow Lyric & Music by Cinti Laird

I'm Yours alone tonight. Love me with all your might. Love me now. You know how. What I mean is not obscene.

Chorus:
Because we're, here today gone tomorrow. There's no time for sorrow, no time to borrow. Here today gone tomorrow.

Today our stars shine bright. Someday they'll take to flight. Tell me why, must we die, how it hurts to say goodbye.

Chorus:
Because we're, here today gone tomorrow. There's no time for sorrow, no time to borrow. Here today gone tomorrow.

Life isn't what it seems. A bowl of broken dreams. Will they fade or make the grade? It will all come to past. Only love is meant to last. So share this life without strife, otherwise say your goodbyes.

Chorus:
Because we're, here today gone tomorrow. There's no time for sorrow, no time to borrow. Here today gone tomorrow.

Sometimes a heart won't wait. Sometimes we're just too late. Why oh why, must we die? It's so hard to say goodbye...

Repeat chorus; Fade..
